THE HOLY SPIRIT AND MARY - TO "ANTHROPOLOGY FULFILLED"
The relationship the Holy Spirit - Mary is a signpost to reach a mature Christian personality. The aim of human development is to recreate in himself God's similarity, lost by sin. The Holy Spirit restores God's image by the aptitude of man to a right relationship with God and neighbor, and the tasks assigned by the Creator.
Most perfectly God's image shines forth in Mary of the Immaculate Conception united with the divine Paraclete, supportive relationships with God and people, and the implementation of the threefold mission of Christ. In the person of Mary anthropological ideal reaches its highest expression and fulfillment.
To understand the term 'anthropology fulfilled' and get to know the influence of the Holy Spirit on the formation of members of the Church, it is needed to understand how union with the Holy Spirit bears fruit in Mary, aiming to fully divine humanity.

PIETY AS A PLACE WHERE SENSUS FIDEI IS REALIZED, BASED ON DOGMA OF VIRGIN MARY'S ASSUMPTION
Summary
The "Sensus fidei in the life of Church" document accents, that the sensus fidei concept does not appear in theology before the II Vatican Council. Yet practice has outstripped the process of clear defining sense of faith.
The author shows piety as a place where sensus fidei is realized, in the context of Virgin Mary's assumption dogma being announced. To illustrate the sense of faith, devotional practices developed in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Wambierzyce and Saint Ann's Mountain were used. It has also been highlighted that sensus fidei realized in Marian devotion has been the main reason for Virgin Mary's assumption becoming a dogma for cause of Piuse XII.

The article presents the elements of new marialogical paradigm which signs appear in ecclesial's symbolism. The analysis is mainly based on Italian sources by Bruno Forte, who is the creator of mariological symbolism. The Author of the article doesn't limit himself only to summarising Forte's idea, but he also exposes the foundations of new mariological paradigm which origin starts in ecclesial's symbolism. It is based on esthetic compiling of traditional mariological content. Thanks to this, we can talk about mariological aesthetics, which the main axis is focused on appreciating the concrete idea on the one hand, and rooting in The Trinity's internal life on the other hand. Virgin Mary reveals "Everything" in "part", but not for the price of removing the fragmental. In this way, the balance between historical message and dogmatic aspect of Revelation is achieved. Brunon Forte, within ecclesial's symbolism, presents solid basics for us to be able to consider new marialogical paradigm and he shows the way for further studies in this field.

SUMMARY
December 8, 2009 marks the 155th anniversary of the proclamation of a dogma of the Immaculate Conception of St. Mary. Such an anniversary is an occasion to come back to this difficult issue of theology and recollect the discussions and debates which resulted in Pius IX's bull Ineffabilis Deus, followed by the proclamation of his dogma. The problem of original sanctity of the Mother of God became an issue of special interest to theo-logians who study Mariology. Reflection on the sanctity of Mary was the very source of the dogma of the Immaculate Conception. This was closely related to introducing such notions as being preserved from sin - praeservatio and preservative redemption - praeredemptio. Theologians began to study this issue as the feast of St. Mary's Conception was spreading form East to West. The basic problem that theology faced in order to properly interpret this issue was the teaching about the generality of the original sin, and as a result, the need of general redemption. Another problem at that time was anthro-pology, according to which man was given a soul only after some time following the conception. John Duns Scot, a Franciscan monk, proposed a solution. His arguments, just as the arguments of his opponents, were based on the special dignity of Christ. His understanding of it, however, was that that taking St. Mary out of the general rule of sin will not deprive Christ of his glory, but multiply it. By "freeing" God's activity from time frames he maintained that St. Mary in conceiving Christ was saved from sin, and this happened because of the expected merits of her Son's Passion.

INTERCESSION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY AS AN ECUMENICAL PROBLEM
Summary
Nowadays Marian issues are a great challenge for participants in ecumenical dialogue. Noticing and properly reflecting them is of great importance in striving to achieve the unity of Christians, which is the will of Christ. Among the Mariological issues raised in discussions between different denominations, one of the more difficult contentious issues is the doctrine of the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Differences between denominations in perceiving this issue, initiated in the era of the Reformation, became consolidated and exist to this day. Opening the relationship between divided Christians, enabling joint consideration of this disputed issue, was associated with the beginning of a dialogue, freed from old emotions, tensions and prejudices. This article aims to answer the question of whether it is possible to re-read the mystery of Mary, her place and role in the Church as part of the ecumenical dialogue undertaken, leading to achieving unity regarding the issue of her maternal intercession.

THE ANNUNCIATION - COMMUNIONAL BREAKTHROUGH IN THE HISTORY OF SALVATION
The Annunciation in a groundbreaking way began the active role of Mary in the communional economy of salvation. Thanks to this, a 'saving environment' was created in her and a hypostatic union took place. In the Annunciation, the Holy Trinity appeared clearly for the first time, becoming the source of the communional blessing for Mary and all people. Communional obedience of the faith of Mary showed her cooperation with God's grace and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. As Abraham's faith was the beginning of the Old Covenant, so the faith of Mary became the beginning of the communion of the New Covenant.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE TEXTS ABOUT THE CONCEPTION OF BLESSED VIRGIN MARY OF MEDIEVAL POLAND
Summary
The paper presents some of medieval works in which the Holy Spirit's motif connected with the conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is emphasized. They are prayer books, liturgical sequences, sermons, liturgical documents , poetry written in Latin and in Polish. The doctrine of the Immaculate Conception was a matter of dispute in the Middle Ages. In the first part of this article an attempt is made to show the fragments of the works of the Church Fathers, divided in two factions, maculists and immaculists. The paper presents fragments relating to the mystery of the conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary from treaties of St Bernard and St Thomas Aquinas, who did not see any theological justification for the idea of immaculate conception and Eadmer of Canterbury secretary to St Anselm, presenting an argument from congruity that Mary was free from original sin. In the second part the literary works are analyzed. In the article special attention is paid to the explanation of theological contexts of presented works and to the showing of literary skill, biblical erudition and religious consciousness of medieval authors.

IN SEARCH OF THE SPECIFITY OF MARIAN THOUGHT SAINT ATHANASIUS THE GREAT
Summary
The aim of the article is to look at the writing activity of Saint Athanasius the Great, the bishop of Alexandria (296-373). We will examine his writings in terms of Mariology. This famous Father of the Church, remembering the bloody persecution of Christians, had to defend Christian doctrine as a bishop during whole his life. For it was a time when a certain Arius propagated the theory according to which Jesus Christ is subordinate to God the Father. He was also a great propagator of the teaching of the Council of Ephesus. We do not focus on the analysis of source texts, but on showing the whole context and background of activity of the Bishop of Alexandria. During his ministry he struggled with the heresy of Arianism. In his Mariology, Saint Athanasius defended the truth of the Incarnation, which confirms the true Divinity and true humanity of Christ. He spoke about the Mother of God (Theotókos), and he praised Mary's virginity. In conclusion, we can say that the Mariology of St. Athanasius should be sought in his Christology, because this is the main subject of his writings.

THE SUBORDINATE RECAPITULATION OF MARY IN THE TEACHINGS OF THE BLESSED JOHN PAUL II
Summary
When discussing the great topics in the teachings of the Blessed John Paul II, we cannot overlook the Marian dimension that was present in all his teachings and was evoked in various situations and contexts. It is not some mannerism of the Pope but the consequence of a profound analysis of the economy of salvation, in which the Blessed Virgin Mary plays a vital role. The whole Good News, Christ, the Church, the economy of grace, contain references to Mary. She integrates the motives of the history of creation and salvation and it is in her that they are illuminated. The Mother of the Saviour is a prophetic sign of the history of man, humanity and the Church; the first who experiences the ultimate destiny predicted for man and who concentrates, or recapitulates, in herself all the themes of redemption, becoming, so to speak, the embodiment and the guarantee of the recapitulation finally achieved by the Son of God. The Mystery of Mary is inseparably linked to the mystery of redemption. In the Pope's teachings the following theme was documented thoroughly: Redemptoris Mater, so also Recapitulatoris Mater, or even Recapitulating Motherhood. Mary is the role model, the picture and the most perfect Daughter of the Mother Church. So she is, in a sense, the "recapitulation" of the Church. She is also the Mother of the Church - both through giving birth to its Founder and through her maternal presence conferred on her. In discussing subordinate recapitulation, those relations and analogies make necessary the distinction between Mary's subordinate recapitulation and subordinate ecclesial recapitulation. But they are always in relation to the unique Christological Recapitulation. Mary, because of the role assigned to her by providence in the history of redemption, may be called the Recapitulating Motherhood. The mystery of recapitulation accomplished in Her is subordinate in character towards Christological Recapitulation - which is the source of its power and the destination it leads to. This subordinate function of Mary is performed especially towards the Church and in the Church that gives birth to God's children, suffering through its members and leading towards final recapitulation in God. The discovery of subordinate recapitulation allows us to see the opulence of God's intentions. In this context the histories of individual human beings and the history of the world acquire a certain reality, concreteness, and the specific "uniqueness" and "non-substitutability" of each human is accentuated. God's mysteries become clarified even more, they "draw nearer" to worldliness, and man perceives himself from the perspective of the elect and elevation. Owing to this approach we may observe a human being becoming, in a subordinate order, the way and completion of recapitulation and - by his free will - he becomes the participant in the mysterious process of divinisation.
